Hello! I’m Dr. Dot, a Clinical Psychologist dedicated to helping individuals navigate their mental health journeys. With over 15 years of experience in the NHS, I have had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients, from children to adults, and addressing a wide array of psychological difficulties.

Evidence-Based Therapeutic Approaches

My practice draws on a combination of evidence-based therapies tailored to meet your unique needs, including:

  • Schema Therapy

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

  • Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT)

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

These approaches are designed to foster understanding, resilience, and healing, helping you overcome challenges and build a more fulfilling life.

I work with individuals on a one-on-one basis, with families, and systemically with the broader support networks around you. My extensive experience includes working in both community settings and psychiatric wards, where I have supported those facing complex mental health issues, such as:

  • Severe anxiety and chronic depression

  • Childhood trauma

  • Interpersonal difficulties

  • Eating disorders

  • Psychosis and addiction

  • Self-harm and suicidality

A Focus on Community Well-Being

In addition to my private practice, I also serve as a Principal Clinical Psychologist for the NHS, where I work closely with children, young people, and their families in island communities. This role allows me to further extend my passion for mental health and community support.
